One of the highlights of the race
The return to the furnace Plourhan
And the finish! cooked, and very rare ...

Breakfast nice trail during the holidays in Cote d'Armor, Plourhan is 3 or 4 km from the sea, between St Brieuc and Paimpol.
Initially, 10 hours for 17 km, it is already pretty hot to borrow various trails and paths zig-zagant between maize and undergrowth. All this part is generally downhill since Plourhan is 75 m above sea level and should reach the beach at the Stables Godelins-sur-Mer.
So the first few miles seem pretty easy, good looks ... but I remember the proverb Breton " Gortoz year noz eo bet evit lavarout Kaer year deiz" (wait for night to say that the day was good) and runner-language: "wait the finish line to say that the race went well! ".
Some nice climbs and descents still before reaching a concrete staircase that leads down to a passage in the rocks, and finally this beautiful beach where we discovered a low tide sand hard, do not flee under the runnings, a small fresh sea breeze filling out this happy to race here.
Got to enjoy it, because then it's hell. As the Romans, the Tarpeian is near the Capitol in a few meters over the freshness of the beach, the sun beats down, the more you feel the wind, climbs and descents shovel, a staircase of a hundred steps (down I begin to climb rapidly 2 by 2 and the top is one by one ... slowly ...). Even false dishes seem difficult, the return to Plourhan seems endless and I'm 1 hr 41'35 and for once not in the first half of the ranking (57th out of 103) .
But it is a beautiful trail, welcoming, well organized, the signs are well done, on arrival: water, coke, rose wine ... to repeat if the opportunity arises!
